The study mainly aims to investigate the effects of “English reading courses” on reading attitude and reading willingness, and studying whether the learning achievement of different genders is different obviously after the implementation of “English reading courses”. The subjects in the study included 244 second graders from a junior high school in Yilan. The study lasted for twenty-four weeks. Before and after the classes ,the research tool “ reading attitude and reading willingness scale” prepared by the researcher was used for pre-test, inter-test and post-test. The results of this study are as follows: 1.The implementation of the “English Reading Courses” can effectively improve the reading attitude and reading willingness of the second graders in junior high school. 2.After the implementation of the “English Reading Courses”, there is no significant difference in learning achievements between genders in post-test. |
