This research aims to analyze relation between city bus drivers' work stress and their intention to stay. A questionnaire investigation based on literature review was conducted and the questionnaire was distributed to city bus drivers in Taipei area for data collection. Result of this study shows that city bus drivers' work stress negatively correlated with their intention to stay. The greater the city bus drivers' work stress is, the lower the willingness to keep the job position would be. We also concluded several factors that affect intention to stay based on the work stress, including stress from work, from achievement and career/life planning, from the system and management of the company, from family and from interpersonal relationship. |
