Triton Satellite

獵風者（Triton）衛星是國家太空中心自主研製的前瞻氣象觀測衛星，執行GN55海面反射訊號觀測並驗證國內發展的10項衛星關鍵元件與技術。衛星全系統自製率超過88％。2018年持續進行任務酬載、光纖陀螺儀，與過氧化氫推進模組等關鍵元件的製造與環境驗證，衛星整測部分則完成第一次全功能測試與2次衛星與地面系統的端對端（End-to-End）測試，預計於2021年備便與發射。

The Triton satellite is a meteorological remote sensing satellite independently developed by the National Space Organization (NSPO). It will perform remote sensing from reflected GNSS signal (or GNSS reflectometry) and verify 10 key satellite components and technologies developed in Taiwan. The satellite self-made rate for the entire system exceeds 88%. In 2018, the manufacturing and environmental verification of key components such as mission payload, fiber optic gyroscope, and hydrogen peroxide, propulsion module were performed continuously. For the satellite integration and test, NSPO completed the first comprehensive performance test (CPT) and two satellite-to-ground system end-to-end tests. The Triton satellite is expected to be ready for launch in 2021.
