福爾摩沙衛星三號

FORMOSAT-3

台美合作的福雨摩沙衛星三號，以6顆微衛星所組成之星系，利用掩星觀測法對地球大地之溫度，壓力，水氣以及電離層電子密度進行觀測。截至2018年12月底註冊使用者共計88個國家4059人；大氣掩星資料累積點數687萬點，電離層掩星資料累積點數460萬點。福爾沙衛三號資料，可從台灣資料分析中心（TACC，Taiwan Analysis Center for COSMIC）取得。

The FORMOSAT-3/COSMIC is a collaboration program between Taiwan and U.S.A. with a constellation of 6 microsatellites, which uses radio occultation technique to observe the temperature, pressure, water vapor, and ionospheric electron density of the Earth's atmosphere. As of the end of December 2018, there were 4,059 registered community users from 88 countries making use of the data: the cumulative points of atmospheric occultation data were 6.87 million points, and the cumulative points of ionospheric occultation data were 4.6 million points.The FORMOSAT-3 data is available from TACC (Taiwan Analysis Center for COSMIC) with the following link: http://tacc.cwb.gov.tw after registration.
