受到國際政治因素直接或間接的影響，韓國對外經貿關係在2019年陷入四面楚歌的危險境界。由於日本政府對韓國採取限制出口的措施，加上中美貿易矛盾的不確定性，韓國經濟在投資和出口領域面臨困境，2019年年4月以來已連續7個月持續低迷的趨勢。2019年年的經濟增長率將停留在2.0％的水平，甚至或難達2％，與三個月前企劃財政部發布的2.4％經濟增長預期大幅下調，經濟增長率將創下2009年金融危機（0.7％）之後的最低紀錄。
