If we can master the sovereignty of the South China Sea, in addition to making the country free from external forces, it can affect geopolitics, even affect the shipping and energy security of major countries, and enhance its international status. The importance of the South China Sea to Vietnam is thus known. This article explores Vietnam's development and power claims in the South China Sea from Vietnam's South China Sea policy, South China Sea Strategy and South China Sea Energy Strategy. The country's main strategy is to complicate and internationalize the problems in the South China Sea. Ithopes that with the intervention of the United States, Vietnam can balance the strength of the CCP's continuous improvement.
