The remodification of TAT adapted for chinese primary school children has four main parts in the whole study: The remodification of new set of pictures; the setting up the objective scoring methods; the applying of a new set of pictures in developmental and comparative studies of children's TAT responses and the evaluations of each picture. In section II the author deals with the last two parts. The newly remodified pictures of Section I were given to eighty children for individual test. Their story responses were recorded and analyzed according to the newly-set-up objective methods. From the developmental study of the TAT responses for the first, third and fifth grade children and comparative study of normal and problem children of the third grade all reflected meaningful data which are strongly supported by other related references. Then, these eleven picture were analyzed according to all the normal subjects' responses, and evaluated on various aspects of characteristics, such as Feelings, Outcomes, Pathological indicators, Story contents, Interpersonal relationships and Attitudes toward each hero in the pictures. An overall profile of each picture response is obtained. From the study on remodification of TAT for Chinese primary school children and the setting up of the objective scoring methods, we can predict that these newly-developed pictures and scoring methods will be useful for children’s personality studies. |
