枇杷留梢對其生育之影響

The Influence of Twig Training on Growth and Development of Loquat

本試驗在研究觀察枇杷未曾結果及結果後枝條上留梢多少，對其將來發芽，抽穗期及抽穗的影響。本省中部枇杷發芽期主要在二至四月（春梢），六月（夏梢）及九至十月（秋梢），抽穗期在九至十一月。留梢處理後，未曾結果枝條以頂梢和二側梢區平均發芽率最低，抽穗期亦較規律，抽穗率亦最高。已結果枝條以二側芽區平均發芽率最低，抽穗期亦較規律。抽穗率亦較高。一般在已結果枝條上所發生芽數較未曾結果者為少。

In studies of twig training concerning loquat fertile and sterile branch about the past season, nine different methods have been compared to get better shooting, blooming, fruit set and laber-saving. In the central part of Taiwan, these are three main vegetable flush periods: (1) spring cycle (February to April), (2)summer cycle (June) and Autumn cycle (Septemoer to October). And flower bud emerging period is from September to November. Under the different treatments, the lowest bud emerging percentage of the past season sterile branch is terminal twig and two sub-apical plot. Flower bud emerging period is more normal. The percentage of flower bud emergence is the highest in all treatments. However, in the fertile branch about the past season, two sub-apical laterals plot is lowest in percentage of bud emergence, more normal in flower bud emergence and highest in the percentage of flower bud emergence. In contrast, both in the terminal plot and one sub-apical lateral plot, the percentage of bud emergence is the highest. The flower bud emerging period is the later in these treatments. In general, the bud emerging percentage of fertile branches in past season lower than the sterile branches. The early blooming problem is discussed.
