A Study and a Plan on the Landscape Design of National Palace Museum

本研究分為兩部份，第一部份為「調查」，將與計劃有關之自然因素，人文因素，及遊客方面加以了解，才能進行設計，故本研究先就氣候，土壤，植物，建築物，環境現況及遊客狀況加以調查分析，作為設計之參考。第二部份為「計劃」，將全園分為王部份設計之，即正館前平台區，長廊及毛氈花籃區，入口車道西側地區，小山美齡公園區，及邊側地區等。各區均依其環境及需要而有不同之特點，最後並附有施工和管理計劃。

This report is accomplished with two steps. The first is investigation of the present state about the landscape of The National Palace Museum. It is necessary to understand before planning some data of natural and humanistic factors connected with landscape design, such as the weather, soil, plants, buildings environment, and tourists who come to visit here. The second part contains a brief plan of landscape design and management. Five small regions are planned hi the whole landscape; these are the frontal terrace area, the corridor and flower pattern area, the entrance areas the Mei-ling Park area; and the side area. Every part has its own characteristics which depend upon its special conditions and needs.
