Another part of this experiment was carried out with three varieties, Chung Shan, India and Kwangtung, to observe the effect of gibberellic acid on the folwering and the development of friuts these cariety. Four different concertrations of gibberellic acid soli=ution, 1 ppm., 10 ppm., 50ppm., 100 ppm. were used in the first part of this experiment. Two different concentrations of gibberellic acid solution, 1 ppm., 20 ppm. were used in the second part of this experiment. The results of this experiment are summarized as follows: 1.Gibberellin can stimulate the development of plants whieh belong to the varieties of Chung Shan and India of guava. 2.With regard to the stimulate of the growth in height of guava plants, the treatment of 100 ppm. gibberellic acid solution is most effective. 3.With regard to the stimulating of the growth in diameter of the trunk of guava plants, 50 ppm. is the most effective treatment. 4.100 ppm. gibberellic acid solution is most effective in stimulating the growth in length of the pranch. 5.20 ppm. plots is the most effective treatment to give large numbers of flowers. 6.Fruit development is biggest in 20 ppm. treatment plots. |
