秋水仙精處埋蘿蔔種子誘發雄不稔性之研究（第一報）

Induced Male Sterility of Radish by Colchicine (Preliminary Report)

一、本試驗於五十三年十一月二十日開始，當時進行處理種子時之自然氣溫平均為22°C。二、秋水仙精濃度分為0.05%、0.1%、0.2%、0.4%、0.8%五種，浸漬時間分為3小時、6小時、12小時、24小時、48小時五種。三、各處理組種子之發芽情形，均因藥劑濃度及浸漬時間之長短，有先後不一致之情形發生；但各處理組之發芽數，均達100%。四、濃度高，浸漬時間長者，幼苗伸長生長之速度，均不及濃度低，浸漬時間短者之快。五、至成苗期，0.1%濃度以下各浸漬時間，以及0.2%、0.4%、0.8%濃度浸漬6小時以下者，對成苗之伸長生長影響極微，超此限度，各處理組大多生長緩慢，葉面縐縮，生勢不強。六、至抽苔調查結果，雄蕊萎縮不稔株之出現，隨濃度擔加，浸漬時間延長而增多。0.4%濃度浸漬48小時，出現13%。0.8%濃度浸漬48小時，出現18%。

1.This experiment was started on Nov. 20, 1964, at an average temperature of 22C when the seeds were treated. 2.The concentrations of colchicine used were 0.05%, 0.1%,0.4% and 0.8% Time of soaking in the solutions were 3-6-12-24-and 48-hour soaking respectively. 3.Because the concentrations of colchicine and time of soaking were different in various groups, the germination of the seeds in each treated in all groups of treatment have reached 100%. 4.The rate of grown for the seedings in treatment eith higher concentration and longer duration were not as repid as those treated in lower concentration and shorter period of soaking.' 5.When the seedings were ready for setting, little influence has been found on their groeth in all saking durations under the soaking duration of not more than 6 hours.All the treated groups above this limit showed slowliness in grown withering of leaves and lack of vigor. 6.The observation of the bolting period showed that the appearance of the sterility of the male buds was associated with the increase of concentration of colchicine and the duration of soaking. 13% of male sterility has been discovered at 0.4% concentration under same soaking duration.
