Sweet pepper plants showed significant differences between fruit shape and fruit quality under different environmental conditions. These differences seem to be influenced by temperature during the growing period. Plants in the outdoor were greater in fruit size, weight and Vitamin C content. High temperature favored the seed development, but not for the fruit High temperature favored the seed development, but not for the fruit growth. Fruit development was almost inhibited after transferred into the 10℃ low temperature controlled room. |
