Ethephon及2,4-D對白化蘆筍幼苗細胞分化之影響

The Effect of Ethephon and 2,4-D on the Cellular Differentiation of Etiolated Asparagus Seedlings

七天大白化蘆筍幼苗經Ethephon, 2,4-D或二者混合液噴灑後，於一週之內，其外表雖無異常之變化，但於顯微鏡下可見其莖部組織經處理後，其皮層細胞擴大，其皮層層數減少，且其週圍維管束層細胞之木質化加速。電子顯微鏡觀察，經處理者其次生細胞壁之增厚加速，且高濃度之Ethephon或／及2,4-D處理更會引起細胞質中粗內質網之變形，以及polysomes數量之減少。

Seven-day-old etiolated asparagus seedlings were sprayed with Ethephon 2,4-D or both, mixture. Within- one week, no significent morphological changes could be observed. But under the microscope, the stem region showed the enlargement of cortex parenchyma, and the reduction of cortex layers. Also the lignification of perivascular cylinder was enhanced. Electron micrographes showed that Ethephon or/and 2,4-D treatment enhanced the secondary wall thickening and the lignification of the cell wall. High concentration treatment even caused the formation of vesicular ER, and the highly reduction of polysomes in the cytoplasm.
