Post harvest ripening for turning stage fruit of sweet pepper could significantly reduce the amount of lechate in seed. Leaching of K, electric conductivity, free amino acid and soluable carbohydrate decreased more evidently in the seed of turning stage fruit with post harvest ripening than red matured fruit. In spring crop the post ripening of red matured fruit may increase the amount lechate of seed. There are significant negative correlation coefficient between the amount of leachate and percent germination of seed. |
