溫度與栽培介質對彩葉蘭生長之影響

Effect of Temperature and Growth Medium on the Growth of Haemaria discolor var. dawsoniana

彩葉蘭之植株對於溫度的感受性有明顯的反應，在15/13℃的環境下，植株呈現停滯生長的現象。在20/15℃之彩葉蘭其生長非常緩慢，25/20℃則植株生長尚佳，此溫度對於花芽誘導有促進作用，可使植株提早開花，而30/25℃植株具有良好的營養生長，置於人工氣候室中八個月，平均葉片數可以到達9～10片，而在15/13℃葉片數仍只有3～4片。）經由實驗結果證實使用不同的栽培介質，如蛭石；真珠石：蛇木屑（1:1:1）、蛭石：真珠石：泥炭苔（1:1:1）、根基旺（NO.3）、水苔：蛇木屑（1:1）等，對於彩葉蘭植株的生長並無太大的影響，且秋、冬天植株的生長較春、夏天緩慢。

Effects of temperature on the growth of Jewel orchid (Haemaria discolor var. dowsoniana) was obvious. Growth stunting wm found under 15/13℃, and the growth rate was very slow at 20/15℃. While 25/20℃ promoted its reproductive growth, and 30/25℃ promoted vegetative growth. The average leaves were from 9 to 10 when grown in the phytotron at 30/25℃ condition for 8 month, while those at 15/13℃were only 3-4 leaves per plant. Effect of the cultural media on the growth of Jewel orchid was conducted. The growth of Jewel orchid showed no significant difference in media treatment which were, 1). vermiculite: perlite: tree fern =1:1:1 (V/V/V), 2). vermiculite: perlite: peat moss =1:1:1(V/V/V), 3). King gardening (no.3) and 4). sphagnum moss : tree fern=1:1(V/V). In autumn 10 winter, the plant growth was slower than those from spring to summer.
