Followed up the chinese culture and history changing, the content and meaning of xiaóoxyé(小學) kept different appearance. Usually, the traditional authors thought that the characteristic of liùyì(六藝) contained with jângshu$(經術) or jângyì(經義) and belonged to liùjâng(六經). The worthy of attention is that zhèngqiáo(鄭樵1104-1162AD) separated xiaoxyé(小學) from liùyì(六藝) or liùjâng(六經) and became an independent article. It contrasted differently with general authors' recognition and groups. Therefore, this article would try to sort the term "xiaoxyé(小學)", and according to its usage and recognition to think about and analyze it from the connection with option, content, purpose and meaning.
