Boundary-crossing of Japanese in Taiwan

日本當前流行語「語言越境」一詞，主要討論的是外國人在日本以日語寫作獲得文學獎項的經緯。本文藉此提出日據時代以至戰後，以日語寫作之台灣作家獲得文學獎項之肯定，亦屬語言越境。

“Boundary-crossing of language,” a popular term in nowadays Japan, opens up a new discussion about foreign laureates of Japanese literature prices. This study intends to posit another mode of boundary-crossing within the Japanese language by inquiring into the historical context in which Taiwanese writers gained recognition in Japan for their work written in Japanese during the Occupation till the post-war era.
