The purpose of this study is to investigate the manner of dissatisfaction used by Chinese native speakers in Taiwanese Universities, Japanese native speakers in Japanese Universities. The following account results from this paper: 1) It is concluded that these two groups are similar in some strategies for dissatisfaction. Some strategies embrace “Express directly” “Demands of explanation” and “Press for reforms to be made”. 2) It is differences in the expression of dissatisfaction between Chinese speakers and Japanese speakers. Especially, the strategy of “no expression”. 3) Human relations can have a major effect on the expression of dissatisfaction in Japanese native speakers in Japanese Universities, but not in Chinese native speakers in Taiwanese Universities. |
