Qu Wan-Li's GujiDaodu (Introduction to ancient books) have both university textbooks and academic writings. The book divided into three items, The first part is "Guj Gailue Ji Chuxue Bidu Guji Jianmu", which let the beginners understand which books should be read. The second part is "Mingbanben Yu Bianweishu" (The discrimination of editions and pseudographs), which let the readers understand to the difference of version and distinguish authenticity. The third part is "Jingshu Jieti" (The solving for the problems of Classics), which teached about 8 kinds of classics, including LunYu, MengZi, ZhouYi, ShangShu, ShiJing, ZhouLi, LiJi and ZuoChuan, The writing direction of the book focus on Bibliography, bibliology and discrimination, That was also as same as Qu's research and the most significant feature of the book. This article point out the Guj Daodu's significance, and a few of disadvantages. Finally, this article indicate Guj Daodu had full of strong research meaning. Guj Daodu had the inheritance and professional background of its research. Even if there are similar works afterwards, It also does not prevent the book from having the eternal value of the meritorious service. |
