In this paper, the behavior of the beam-column connections of concrete-filled tubular structure with buckling restrained braces(BRB) is studied experimentally. The beam-column connection is extracted from the frame at the inflection point of the beams and columns. In addition, a buckling restrained brace is mounted at the joint of beams and columns. There are two specimens: one is bolted type connection; the other is connection with internal diaphragm. Since the displacement at the middle point of the column is half of the story drift under earthquake, two actuators are mounted at the column mid-point and the beam-column joint, respectively. The story drift is simulated by driving the actuators with displacement control. |
