本研究以三個彩色海芋品種繼代培養之發根苗為材料,探討組培發根苗基徑、苗高、苗鮮重和苗根指數等幼苗生長特性是否對後續養球階段球徑大小的影響。試驗結果顯示,發根苗苗高、苗鮮重及苗根指數與後續養球階段球徑大小呈正向關係,即這三種幼苗特性值愈大,組培苗移植後所培育之種球球徑愈大,參試三品種表現一致,唯各品種幼苗特性值的分級標準不同。以組培發根苗基徑應用於品質指標時,‘PacificPink’及‘ExtraGold’二種均表現組培苗基徑越大時,所培育之種球分佈有往大球分佈增加的趨勢,但‘Black Magic’組培苗基徑大小作評估與苗根指數的評估會因交感作用的發生而產生不同的評估結果。因此‘Black Magic’尚須加入苗根指數的限制方能達到評估的準確性。因此苗生長勢性狀評估如以其後續經濟性狀作為標準,則可使苗期評估更有利用價值。
In the present study, the in vitro subcultured plantlets of three calla lily (Zantedeschia) cultivars were used to evaluate the effects of their growth characteristics on the tube size and subsequently establish selection criteria for quality assessment. The examined growth characteristics were the basal diameter, the height and fresh weight, and the root index of plantlets. The results indicated that positive relationships existed between the height, fresh weight and root index of plantlets and the tuber size of in vitro subcultured plantlet for the tested three cultivars, but each with different classification standard. Both the basal diameter and root index were shown as suitable to assess the quality of in vitro subcultured plantlets, particularly for ‘Black Magic’. |
