電機地面輔助測試設備（EGSE）是由太空中心自主研發，以支援衛星系統驗證、確認與整合測試的需求。太空中心使用商用EPOCH軟體作為EGSE衛星測試控制器，其可透過Ethernet控制測試櫃與衛星。衛星整合測試可以藉由執行自動測試程式並配合指令與遙傳資料庫，以達到自動化測試。在此測試架構下，可減少測試時間與人為疏失。目前已完成一套EGSE與福衛五號工程驗證平台連結進行系統驗證與確認測試。基於目前的設計架構，太空中心正在積極改進現有EGSE，未來福衛七號EGSE測試櫃的高度將從200 cm降至84cm並將所有介面都移至背板，以達到微小化與輕量化的目標。 The Electrical Ground Support Equipment is developed by NSPO to support the spacecraft systemverifications, validations, integration and tests. A commercial EPOCH software is adopted as the EGSE satellitetest controller to control the test racks and the satellite via Ethernet. Satellite I&T can be done by the automatictest sequence accompanied by the command and telemetry database, by which test time and human errorcan be reduced to the minimum. One set of EGSE has been completed and linked to the FORMOSAT-5 EDMfor system validation and verification tests. Based on the current design structure, NSPO is actively improvingthe current EGSE. The height of the FORMOSAT-7 EGSE is reduced to 84cm from 200cm of FORMOSAT-5 tominimize the volume and weight, and all interfaces have been moved to the rear panel to keep the front panelneat.
