大酺意皇帝在特定節日或場合舉辦的大型慶祝活動。根據筆者的整理,以《舊唐書》、《新唐書》、《唐會要》、《資治通鑑》等書為統計對象,唐代可以確知年份的大酺共設了81次之多,是中國歷朝歷代以來,大酺文化最為盛行的一代。除了聚會歡飲之外,大酺的流程中,最重要的就是從日到夜從不間斷的百戲演出。如跳丸、跳劍、幢戲、走索、採大球、幻術、動物戲等,可說是包羅萬象。無論是節目、演出方式、演出規模都相當豐富精彩。筆者對這時所發展出的歌舞百戲文化深感興趣。是以爬梳各類文獻,整理出唐代大酺的興衰演進。並從此脈絡中,梳理出其中和百戲表演相關之文獻進行爬梳。進而探究其演出單位、演出時機、演出地點、演出內容。將其中變化、沿革依照時間的脈絡排列後,探討唐代大酺之中百戲的發展狀況,及推動唐代百戲發展的源頭。
The Dabu,that means the emperor's large-scale celebrations held on specific festivals or occasions.According to the author's order, there are total of 81 times Dabu in The Tang Dynasty.
