膀胱訓練對移除病人使用留置導尿管之成效

The Effects of Bladder Training Before Removing the Indwelling Urinary Catheter in Patients

使用留置導尿管時間過久可能會對病人產生一些副作用，例如：泌尿道感染等。過去研究指出執行膀胱訓練可以提升移除留置導尿管的成功率，但卻無一致性的做法。本研究藉由探究系統性文獻回顧及臨床作業操作規範等資料之結果，以瞭解國內執行膀胱訓練之現況。經本研究綜合探討分析後，建議移除留置導尿管前不需執行膀胱訓練，而導尿管留置期間應著重在每日評估及早期移除留置導尿管上，未來仍需更多研究支持。 Using an indwelling urinary catheter may cause some adverse effects such as urinary tract infection. Previous studies have shown that bladder training increases the success rate of removal of indwelling urethral catheters. This study reviews the relevant references and information to investigate the effectiveness of bladder training and indwelling urinary catheters in Taiwan. We collected and appraised the relevant sources from a systematic review and guidelines from hospitals. Bladder training may fail to resolve the problems of catheter removal. For solving these problems, we suggest that healthcare workers should focus on patient care as early as possible before and after placing the catheter and removing the catheter. Further studies are warranted to support these findings.
