臺灣產埔里中華爬岩鰍之分布與相對族群量

Distribution and Relative Abundance of Sinogastromyzon puliensisin Taiwan

埔里中華爬岩鰍為臺灣之特有種及保育種，自1992-1999年所採集之資料顯示，該魚種分布於臺灣西部的大甲溪、烏溪、濁水溪、曾文溪及高屏溪等五條水系，海拔高度主要於101-150m的河段。在124個採集站中其族群量以高屏溪最大，其平均單位努力捕獲量為100.7尾／30分鐘，大甲溪最低，為1尾／30分鐘。基於埔里中華爬岩鰍之廣闊分布及豐富族群，建議本魚種的保育等級由珍貴稀有保育類降為一般類。 Distribution and relative abundance of the endemic species Sinogastromyzon puliensis were investigated from 1992 to 1999. It was widely distributed in the Tachia, Wu, Choshui, Tsengwen and Kaoping rivers in the western portion of Taiwan at the altitudes of 101m to 150m. Its reelative abundance was highest in the Kaoping River (100.7 individuals/30 min) and lowest in the Tachia River (one individual/30 min). Results of this study show that S. puliensis is a species of wide distribution and high abundance, and thus, it is recommended to chang its conservative grade from a Rare and Valuable Species to a common species.
