WebGIS為Internet與GIS之整合應用,其特色在於使用者可以透過網際網路取得所需的地理資訊服務。然而,受限於網際網路“有線”的服務範圍,WebGIS的應用範圍仍侷限於室內的作業環境。本文參考相關研究–GiMoDig,以及遵循OGC相關標準–OpenLS和GML,提出一個供行動裝置與WebGIS整合的伺服器端系統架構,以應用在行動地理資訊服務上。此外,本文亦討論行動裝置與伺服器間資料傳輸的作業模式,並使用物件關聯式資料管理系統(ORDBMS)進行地理資料的管理與操作,同時也驗證了本系統架構之可行性及擴充性。最後,本文做出數點結論與建議,可做為未來發展行動式地理資訊服務系統之參考。4.透過效率、無效率間的t檢定可看出,無效率群在各投入產出的績效皆明顯落後於效率群。 WebGIS is the integration of Internet and GIS. The feature of WebGIS is that users can access geographic information service by internet. However, due to the constraint of wired internet, the application fields of WebGIS are still restricted to indoor environment. Referring to the related research – GiMoDig and complying with the related OGC standards – OpenLS and GML, the paper proposed a server-side architecture for the integration of mobile devices and WebGIS in mobile GIS environment. In addition, the paper discussed the model of data transmission between mobile devices and the server, and used ORDBMS for the management and manipulation of geographic data. Moreover, the research has verified the feasibility and extensibility of the system architecture. Finally, this paper made several conclusions and suggestions that can lead to further research in mobile geographic information service.

WebGIS is the integration of Internet and GIS. The feature of WebGIS is that users can access geographic information service by internet.
