本研究以酚為溶劑,H2SO4及HCl為催化劑就孟宗竹材進行液化處理,並將孟宗竹液化產物應用於Resol型醇溶性酚樹脂之製備,探討其適用之合成條件及其合成樹脂之性質。由試驗結果顯示,液化時以H2SO4為催化劑者有較佳之液化效果。將液化孟宗竹應用於Resol型醇溶性酚樹脂製備時,宜採用之合成條件為甲醛/酚(F/P)莫耳比1.2/1,氨水/酚添加比10/1(mL/莫耳),合成反應時應先將酚液化竹材與福馬林先行混合,並添加15g之40%NaOH(aq)及1/3量之氨水,隨後將反應液於60min內加熱至65℃,再逐漸加入其餘之氨水,並在溫度80℃進行反應20-30min。所合成液態之酚樹脂應用於成型物製作時宜先以80℃加熱24hr,再以135℃加熱0.5hr,熱硬化樹脂之重量保留率可達92.5-99.7%。 Moso bamboo (Phyllostachys pubesens) was liquefied in phenol with the H2SO4 andHCl as catalyst. The liquefied bamboo was used in the preparation of resol type alcohol soluble PFresin. The appropriate synthesis conditions and the properties of these PF resins were investigated.The results showed that moso bamboo liquefied with H2SO4 as the catalyst had better effect. As theliquefied bamboo was used in the preparation of resol type alcohol soluble PF resins, the adequatesynthesis conditions were using the formaldehyde/phenol (F/P) molar ratio of 1.2/1 and ammonia/phenol (mL/mole) of 10/1. The calculated amount of liquefied bamboo, formalin, 15g of 40% NaOH (aq) and third amount of ammonia solution should be mixed completely prior to synthesis processing, andthen the reactant would be heating to 65℃ within 60 min, followed by adding the remnant ammoniasolution gradually, and maintained the reaction temperature at 80℃ for 20 to 30 min. When the liquidtype PF resins were used in the manufacturing of moldings, it should be heating at 80℃ for 24 hrfirst, and then elevated the temperature to 135℃ for 0.5 hr. The weight retention of the thermosettingresins was between 92.5% and 99.7%.
