秦椒（Zanthoxylum armatum DC.）於1913年至1915年間為法國採集家U.Faurie在臺北圓山所採集之編號22號標本後，查遍臺灣各大標本館均無臺灣產之本種臘葉標本，目前在馬祖採集發現秦椒分布馬祖地區的最新發現。 Since French collector,U. Faurie discovered Zanthoxylum armatum DC. (specimen number 22) in Yuanshan, Taipei, between 1913 and 1915, no other specimens had ever been found according to our research of major Taiwan herbaria. It wasn't until recently when we discovered Z. armatum DC. in Matsu, marking the latest record of the species.
