僑教推展有其歷史淵源,臺灣高等教育處於內憂(少子化)外患(全球化)力道夾雜下,近年來致力於境外生、僑生(含港澳)的招生,來臺求學的僑生與外籍學生人數也逐漸增加,其中來臺境外學生以就讀大學院校「僑生」最多,然因政府法令政策對於專業證照考試和在臺就業限制,致使來臺就讀大學護理學系的僑生佔每年護理系畢業生不到1%,而外籍生和陸生則僅能申請交換。即便近年已有多篇研究論文探討在臺僑生求學適應,針對特定科系僑生來臺就學的研究仍付之闕如。因此,本文即以初探性角度出發,以天主教輔仁大學護理學系歷年招收僑生經驗,以及自2011年開放陸生、外籍生申請交換之經驗為個案,彙整分析歷史與文獻資料,就其學業與生活各層面適應、學系輔導經驗,對照相關文獻,作為拋磚引玉,期望高等教育學生事務工作更多關注境外生在臺學習與生活適應需求的研究,最終能實質回應這些在臺學習的多元背景學生所需的奧援與協助。
The main purpose of this article is to explore the learning and life adaptation experiences among the overseas Chinese students and the foreign students study nursing program in Taiwan. Our overseas Chinese education policy is based on the historical originality, the long-term national development. The government has put in a lot of effort in promoting these foreign students come to Taiwan to study. However, for the policy and the regulations by the government, the number of these students came to Taiwan to study nursing program and its relative research still scarce. Therefore, a case for those students who study B.S. degree of nursing in Fu Jen Catholic University to understand their learning and life adaptation experiences. This explorative article intend to reveal the little-known aspect of their experiences, hope it can throw light on the further research. |
