The development of the modern era has put forward higher demands for blended learning in that it should target at the development of thinking. This research, using English writing teaching as a case, constructed a blended learning model with the orientation of critical thinking based on the theories of critical thinking, English writing instruction and blended learning. The researcher analyzed the structural content, the implementation procedure and the realization conditions of the model, and examined its effect in terms of students’ critical thinking and English writing. The results of the experiment show that the experimental group outperformed the control group in critical thinking. And with regard to writing, the data of the two groups did not show significant difference. |
