透過分析Crank球體模型方程式(Crank equation for sphere model)導出之擴散係數,研究超臨界二氧化碳(SC-CO2)萃取檳榔中檳榔鹼之質量轉移(mass transfer)情形。比較不同條件之SC-CO2萃取產量,結果顯示,壓力10.3 MPa及溫度50°C時為最佳化萃取條件,其次為溫度40°C和壓力25.6 MPa時。以擴散係數分析,亦與前述最佳化條件相關,萃取產量與擴散係數值成正比。

The mass transfer of arecoline using supercritical carbon dioxide (SC-CO2) from areca nut is studied by analyzing the diffu-sion coefficient derived from Crank equation for sphere model. Comparisons of the SC-CO2 extracted yield under various condi-tions showed that the combination of pressure at 10.3 MPa and temperature of 50°C provided the optimum condition for extraction, followed by extraction at 40°C and 25.6 MPa. From the diffusion coefficient analysis, the optimum conditions also gave the highest coefficients. It was found that the yield is directly proportional to the values of the coefficients.
