To prevent the importation of diseases by foreign workers to the local population, all legally imported workers are required to submit a health certificate issued by an approved foreign hospital before applying for an entry visa. Foreign workers are also required to undergo health examination at a designated hospital in three days after arrival in Taiwan. To monitor the health conditions of foreign workers, employed foreign workers are required to take health examination within 30 days before or after the 6th, 18th and 30th month of employment in Taiwan. |
