Civil servant assessment is of vital importance for government's human resource management and plays a fundamental role in civil servant management. At present, China's civil servant management is confronted with great challenges. With the dramatic development of e-government, the ways and means of civil servant assessment are in urgent need of improvement. 1n this paper, by reviewing the civil servant assessment theories and practices at home and abroad and analyzing the status quo and existing problems in China's civil servant assessment management, the author attempts to present her thoughts on how the law rules civil servant assessment management as wel1 the route to realize the rule in e-government age and propose some suggestions on improving legal and institutional system of China's civil servant assessment management. |
