Using the da Vinci robot-assisted surgical systems on 164 patients with earlystagedcervical cancer at The Gynecological Department of Taipei VeteransGeneral Hospital in a period of seven years, 2010-2017, we have found, comparedwith traditional surgery, da Vinci surgery is less invasive and pelvic manipulationis minimal. This type of pelvic surgery for the treatment of early-stagedcervical cancer may be recommended .
