匯通式的轉折──論章太炎醫學思想的轉變

The Original Ideas and Changes of Medical Thoughts in Dr. Zhang Taiyan’s Academic Carrier

章太炎先生的醫學思想，在近代中西匯通與論爭之間頗具影響力。他致力於改進中醫，抵制五行學說不遺餘力；但同時也肯定中醫之療效，發表許多結合西說的匯通式醫論。本文透過整理分析其醫論，尋找他的醫學學術體系之源流與轉變，認為即使他曾自述不信任傳統的臟腑經絡學說，但是依據西方解剖學知識和柯琴的六經理論所架構出來的醫學體系，本質上仍與傳統中醫重視「臟腑經絡之出入傳化」的基本觀念相去不遠。

Mr. Zhang Taiyan influenced the medical ideas and debates between the modern integration of Chinese and Western Medicine. He devoted his life to the theoretical improvement of Chinese medicine, while resisting the five phase theory to the utmost. At the same time affirming the curative effectiveness of Chinese medicine, he went on to publish many papers on the integration of Chinese and Western medicine. This article analyzes the original ideas and changes through Dr. Zhang’s academic carrier. According to his autobiography, he did not believe the traditional theories of the viscera, bowels, channels and network vessels but, developed a system according to western anatomical knowledge combined with Ke-qin’s six channel theory which essentially was very much the same as the traditional system that encompasses viscera, bowels, channels, network vessels, exiting, entering, passage and transformation.
