嚴格的說起來，生涯只有短短的二十九年的伊藤野枝(Noe idou )不算是一位完成作家。也不可以說是一位成熟作家。然而,在日本近代文學的個體和社會群體的二元論的社會中，她用的她的自己的生活方式努力為個人自我的確立盡力，而且為社會上許多的弱勢的個體及群體奔走。特別是在他所寫的「轉機」這篇作品中含有二個意義。一個是女性＜個＞的解體，也就是說女性脫離傳統制度束縳追求自由自在的自我自己。二是縱使是身為女性也可以自己決定自己在存在社會上的深度與重要性，而不是如以往父權社會一般只有局限在家庭中，扮演著傳統的角色。
尤其如伊藤野枝對知識的追求以及對自我的追求是積極而努力的。他秉持人道主義的精神極力對抗社會的不公平，並幫助社會中弱勢的一群試著為弱勢的一群發聲。雖然她和大杉榮都死於日本軍國主義的虐殺，但是為了每一個社會上無數的自我，也為了自己的理想，她是無怨無悔的付出了她的一生。本論藉由「轉機」一文探討伊藤野枝完成自我尋得真愛、以及如何的完成她心中對社會的貢獻一己的信念。
