Mathematica是一個有關數學的科學展示，把抽象的數學原理轉換為具象的實體，由伊姆斯事務所（Eames Office）設計，從1961至1998在加州科學工業博物館展出長達37年。這是美國第一個互動式的科學展示，是現代博物館科學展示的先驅，將展示帶入一個有意義、趣味和互動的新境界，其歷久彌新的展示內容及普及性的教育影響，確定了它在科學展示的經典地位。是什麼原因得以展出如此長久、有趣而深具影響力？本文試從展示的思想、實務、品質三個面向進行研究，並從研究的結果獲得在展示的價值定位及展示的問題解決思維上的啟發。

A Scientific Exhibition designed by Eames Office Mathematica transformed the abstract theories into the real objects in the field of Mathematics. It was settled in California Science and Industry Museum for 37 years from 1961 to 1998. As the first interactive scientific exhibition in America Mathematica brought the museum exhibition to a new domain with meaning, pleasure and interaction. The endurable contents and overall affection in education made the exhibition to be the classic. How did it form? The research focused on three aspects in exhibit concept, practice and quality, and found the inspiration both on the true value of exhibition and the problem solution in exhibition.
