本研究近年來,許多先進國家皆發展無線通訊技術以降低有線通訊之高昂建置成本以及應用於交通資訊之傳輸,因此無線通訊網路之評選方式遂成為研究重點之一。本研究為改善以往單一指標與單一評估方法之缺點,將比較不同性質(質化、量化與綜合)之評估方法並以擁有較成熟之交通現場設備的臺北市為實證對象,評選出最佳的無線通訊網路方案。本研究提出功能、品質、成本與系統四項層面及十六個準則,以建立評估架構與評估方法之評選流程。研究結果發現,在考量整體現場設備的情況下,目前最佳方案為A8 方案 (2.5G/3G 搭配WLAN/WiMAX),評估方法中則以MEQQD 表現最佳。本研究最後提出一規劃時程決策及整體評估流程。未來即使出現新一代的無線通訊技術,仍可依本研究之評估架構與決策流程,針對不同現場設備的通訊需求,尋求最佳的無線 |

Recently many developed countries have deployed wireless communicationtechnologies to overcome the drawbacks of high costs of wired line constructionand transmission for traffic information services. It is anticipated that severalwireless communication technologies with high mobility and data rate (WiMAX,WiBro) will be soon available for urban traffic control and management. Themain purpose of this paper aims at proposing an evaluation process to identifyfeasible wireless communication network alternatives for urban traffic field devices.Taipei has been chosen as the empirical case study by using a hierarchyframework including 4 objectives (function, quality, cost and system) and 16criteria. It is found that weight of cost is the highest and weight of system is thelowest for each alternative. So far the alternative A8 (2.5G/3G+WLAN/WiMAX)is regarded as the most comprehensive wireless communication network for thelong-term development. Considering standard conditions with quality and quantitycriteria the most appropriate evaluation method is MEQQD. An evaluationprocess is also provided to depict the roadmap of deploying wireless communicationnetworks for urban traffic management devices. This evaluation structureand decision process will be still useful to seek the most appropriate wirelesscommunication network focusing on the communication demands of differentsite equipment even though new wireless communication technologies will appearin the future. |
