帛琉的登革熱疫情處理及防治

Prevent and Control of Dengue Fever Epidemic in Palau

帛琉於2016年10月開始發生了登革熱疫情。在帛琉衛生部及新光醫院國際醫療中心居中的合作下，在當地疫情進行了蒐集及分析後，針對當地現有環境及醫療設施，進行了針對當地登革熱疫情的一系列防治措施：包括環境處理病媒蚊防治、防疫宣導、病人分類治療，及防止境外病毒移入等。疫情在2017年7月最終得到控制，累計總共有376位病人，包含三個死亡個案。

An epidemic of dengue fever started since October, 2016 in Palau. With the cooperation between the Medical Department of Palau and the International Medical Center of Shin Kong Wu Ho-Su Memorial Hospital, the detailed data of local epidemic was collected and analyzed. And then, several interventions relevant to the local situation were applied to control the epidemic. These included environmental clearing, control of vector mosquito, patient triage, and prevention of immigration of patients with dengue fever. The epidemic started to resolve in July 2017. In total, there were 376 patients with three death in that epidemic.
