The Economic foundation of Wu-yue Kingdom in the Five-Dynasties

吳越國在錢氏的致力經營下，在農業、手工業及商業貿易等方面的發展均較唐代更為進步，乃是有目共睹的。唐代兩浙地區的農業、手工業及商業貿易等發展，為五代時期的吳越國奠下良好的經濟基礎；而由吳越國所奠下的堅實基礎，更開啟了兩浙路在宋代經濟上領先的局面。

Wu-yue Kingdom was well known for its progress in agriculture, handicraft, tradeand commerce. These developments considered more advance than Tang Dynasty wereachieved by the endeavor of Qian.During the Tang Dynasty, Che-hsi and Che-tung Region’s development inagriculture, handicraft, trade and commerce laid a solid foundation for the Wu-yueKingdom in the Five-Dynasties. In the same way, the solid foundation established byWu-yue Kingdom launched the lead for Che-hsi and Che-tung Region’s economicdevelopment in Song Dynasty.
