However, throughout the writings, he did not talk ”what free and unfettered is” bluntly and clearly, neither how to be free and unfettered.Not only did it so, ZHUANG-ZI used Kun-Peng, a kind of giant bird in legend, as metaphor to start his writing. According to his appearance change, to establish of a large image; And then by small one to mockery, to establish a small image. Trying to use both sides opposite to explain the meaning of ”the differences between the small and the great”, and expound the thinking free and unfettered.However, in this case, the concept of chapters ”Free and unfettered” is multifarious. Therefore, there are so many different opinions about the free and unfettered but not in concluded, which led the meaning of ”the difference between the small and the great” still not clear, also making the thinking of ”Free and unfettered” being more and more veiled. Therefore, in this article, using ”By the Difference between the Small and the Great to discuss ZHUANG-ZI's thinking of free and unfettered” as subject, using ”Two Bugs” and ”the Image of the Small and the Great” as samples to analysis the meaning of the differences between the small and the great.By adopting every thinker argument and related arguments and coordinating closely, writer returned this subject to the divergence since GUO-XIANG annotated ZHUANG-ZI's article.
