詞學研究方法和文學理論的思考──以胡適劉若愚為例

Lyrics Research Methodology and Literary Theory: Using Hu Shih and James J.Y. Liu as an Example

科學學術研究非常重視方法學的選擇與運用，因為研究方法的選擇與運用可以決定學術研究的價值與成敗。筆者想要針對胡適與劉若愚二人有關詞學研究方法與文學理論的文獻作內部的分析，並且要進一步從歷史、社會的角度，探討胡適、王國維、朱光潛、劉若愚這些現代學者之間的學術歷史關係。因此本論文的內容將分為以下三部分：一、討論集中一個詞調的研究方法。二、分別針對胡適與劉若愚二人的詞學方法作詳細具體的分析說明，並結合二人的文學理論作比較整體性的研究。在胡適與劉若愚二人之間，王國維與朱光潛的詞學研究方法與境界理論也發生密切的影響與聯繫，因此採取歷史的方法一起加以討論。這樣的研究，一方面可以理解研究方法與文學理論之間橫向的結構關係，一方面也可以深入把握前後發展縱向的歷史關係。三、提出研究的幾點心得：（1）現代學術方法的形成建立；（2）中國文學理論的繼承發展；（3）東西文學理論的綜合匯通；（4）理論與實踐的相互印證；（5）文學鑑賞與研究的理想境界。期望本研究結果對文學研究領域有所貢獻。

The choice and application of methodology may decide the value and success of an academic research, therefore, scientific academic research places much importance on the choice and application of methodology. This research will conduct internal analysis on Hu Shih (胡適) and James J.Y. Liu's (劉若愚) literature concerning lyric research methodology and literary theory; also, from historical and social perspectives, further discuss the historical academic relations between modern scholars such as Hu Shih, Wang Guowei (王國維), Zhu Huangqian (朱光潛), and James J.Y. Liu. The contents of this research will be as in the following three parts: 1) Discuss methodology for each lyric tone; 2) Analyze and explain specifically the lyric research methodologies of Hu Shih and James J.Y. Liu, then integrate the two said scholars' research methodology to conduct a more comprehensive research. During the period of time between Hu and Liu's theory, Wang Guowei and Zhu Guangqian's methodology and ”Created World Theory” are also found to be closely related, therefore, the connection between the different periods of theory will be included in the discussion. The research will help to better understand the synchronic structural relation and diachronic historical relation between research methodology and literary theory; 3) Research conclusion: a. the creation and establishment of modern academic methodology; b. inheritance and development of Chinese literary theory development; c. synthesis of Chinese and Western theory of literature; d. mutual proof between theory and practice; e. ideal state for literary appreciation and research. This research is conducted in hope of contributing to the literary research field.
