The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of participating in adaptive physical education for students with autism. In particular, this study compiled information regarding the benefits of physical education, sport, leisure, and physical activities for students with autism in recent years as well as the prevailing teaching methods and strategies adopted to teach students with autism. Findings will provide valuable information to teachers while engaging in adaptive physical education in an effort to enhance the willingness of autism students to participate in physical education, sport, leisure, and physical activities so as to acquire more benefits of exercise. |
