The purposes of this study attempted to explore the factors influencing career development. This research involved a survey, comprised of three sets of questionnaires concerning the social support, career beliefs, and career development. The data collection were utilized the random sampling with cluster adopted from high school students of the department of physical education in Taiwan. The quantitative analysis of the questionnaires was conducted through descriptive statistics, confirmatory factors analysis, and hierarchical regression analysis. The results indicated that the students’ social support have a positively significant effect on their career development, and the mediating effect of the career beliefs. In conclusion, high social support helps high school students promoted their career development, especially students with good career beliefs. |
