On 1 June 1998, the European Central Bank (ECB) began operation. It is a unique supranational creation with deep transformation in the nature of European politics. The ECB’s decisions affect not only the economies of the EU but also be transforming its politics as critical decisions which are transferred to the European level. The analysis begins to explain the role of central bank, and viewing the dynamic of ECB’s power from SEA, Maastricht Treaty, Amsterdam Treaty, Nice Treaty, and Lisbon Treaty. |
