美國川普總統政權的誕生，反映出美國社會樣態的改變。當前的日美同盟雖維持穩定關係，然而，川普政權上任後所擬定的東亞外交政策，可能因國際或國內要素而改變。於此同時，日本須具備無論是在日本、日美之間，抑或是多國之間，各層次的國際關係局勢變化中，因應萬變的能力。

Donald Trump’s victory in the 2016 U.S. Presidential Election reflects various changes in American society. While the U.S.–Japan alliance seems to be stable now, however U.S. policy towards East Asia may change due to international and domestic factors. At the same time, Japan must be prepared to respond to any changes at the unitary, bilateral and multilateral levels.
