Discussion on the Protection of the Rights and Interests of Overseas Chinese in Legislation in the New Situation- 'The Protection of the Rights and Interests of Overseas Chinese in Legislation: Theory and Practice' Academic Forum Meeting Review

近日在廣州舉行了“中國海外僑胞權益保護立法的理論與實踐＂學術論壇。在認識僑務資源助力國家發展的戰略意義、加強僑務工作法治建設和準確研判立法重難點基礎上，與會人員緊扣主題，集中討論了“僑胞資源與海外僑胞立法戰略＂“僑胞與公民、居民視閾下的海外僑胞權利配置＂以及“從法律體系化看海外僑胞權益界定模式＂等議題。本文梳理和概述了該學術論壇的討論焦點和主要觀點，以饗讀者。

Recently, ' the Protection of the Rights and Interests of Overseas Chinese in Legislation: Theory and Practice' Academic Forum was held in Guangzhou. It is necessary to realize that overseas Chinese resources has been an impetus for the development of the country. It is of great importance to strengthen the rule of law in overseas Chinese affairs, and to study the difficulty of the very legislation. On this basis, many issues such as 'overseas Chinese resources and legislative strategy for overseas Chinese', 'the configuration of rights for overseas Chinese in the perspective of overseas Chinese, citizens and inhabitants', 'analysis of the definition model of rights and interests of overseas Chinese from the legal system perspective' were discussed intensively. This paper sorts out focal points of discussion and summarized the main opinions of the attendants.
