城市競爭力指標探討之研究－－主成份分析之應用

The Study of Urban Competitiveness Indicators – An Application of Principal Components Analysis

隨著資訊與通訊科技的進步、全球化的浪潮以及知識經濟與永續發展時代來臨等因素的影響下，世界各國對於國家競爭力的重視，亦隨之轉為區域競爭力到至今的城市競爭力。本研究採用文獻分析法與主成份分析建構臺灣城市競爭力指標體系。本研究分析結果顯示，臺灣城市競爭力可分為經濟發展、勞力資源、政府效率、社會安全以及醫療保健等5項主要構面與各構面下共27項衡量指標。本研究提出之研究方法與指標體系將有助於為研究者與相關決策者作為未來探討城市競爭力相關議題之參考與基礎。

Accompanied with improving of information and communication technology, as well as the influence factors of the advent of the global waves, knowledge economy, and the era sustainable development, the world has become valued the competitiveness of country from region competitiveness to nowadays Urban competitiveness. The research adopted the methods of documentary analysis and principal component analysis to build up Taiwan Urban competitiveness index system. The research results of this article showed that Taiwan Urban competitiveness could divide into five dimensions as follows, the economy development, the labor resource, the government effective, the social security and the healthcare, and moreover, which were 27 index items to measure the dimensions. The research inferred the research methods and index items will be devoted to the future who has involved in the issue of Urban competitiveness.
