This study is focused on the competitive strategy analysis for rugged PC industries. In the development process of computer industries , from product life cycle to watch, rugged PC industries has been moving into the stage of market maturity. Since the variety, And the wide range of applications, the general consumer computers could not one size fits all industries. Rugged PC computers provide the special needs as anti-saltfog, anti-dust, and provide the corresponding special environment customized specifications to meet customer needs. The main purpose of this study is to explore the competitive advantage and competitive strategy for rugged PC firms when they enter the market of rugged PC industries, As company G is an example, and the opportunities and threats facing the various competitors, The competitive strategy analysis is based on four theory models: Smile Curve, BCG Matrix , SWOT Analysis, New Five Forces Analysis to predict rugged PC industry in the future . They must move their strategy forward two sides of smile curve, one side is the creative develop patented products and the other side is strategy application solution with brand name marketing.
