In 2016 Taipei City Government Tourism Policy White Paper in tourism policy, Taipei City government aims to promote Taipei to become Asia's must-see city for the vision. The focus will identify target tourist groups and establish Taipei city brand. This study analyzes the data from Annual Survey Report on Visitor Expenditures and Trends in Taipei (2014) to investigate the city brand strategy from Taipei City government. The results find that the most impressive parts toward Taipei are gourmet food, Fruits, local friendliness and hospitality, clean streets and orderly queue, convenience transportation and local cultural characteristics. |
